As much as Ed loved Wolf, I will bet something was done where the house and 5150 will be in the Van Halen family a very long time. Since, I would assume, the house is bought and paid for, Janie could sign the house over to Wolf and it's his. Studio and all. BUT...as some of you have speculated, due to family squabbles in entertainment, it's probably not a stretch to say Ed had every card laid out plainly on the table. I would imagine everything was taken care of very tightly.
June. 1984. Kemper Arena. Kansas City, Mo. My very first concert. The lights go out. The spotlights rotate over the crowd while a wailing guitar overtakes the screams and cheers. The opening riff of "Unchained" begins as a lone spotlight illuminates Eddie Van Halen. By himself. I was never the same after that.

Obviously speculation but I wouldn't be surprised that 5150 is in control to Wolfgang but its audio contents likely in some sort of joint partnership with Wolfgang and Alex. I think the family has a business group or something set up in their name. While Eddie loved Janie, I do think that Wolfgang was his life.

Due to his health, I am sure that everything was done clearly. Its not like he died in his sleep. Had terminal cancer since 2017.

From a straight legal analysis the house and 5150 studio would have been Edís separate property going into the marriage. Hence, Janie would have no claim to either absent Ed giving them to her in his will/trust or intentionally putting her on title prior to death. Beyond that itís pure speculation what Ed did in his will with either... Would seem highly unlikely sheís not taken care of one way or the other. It also seems highly unlikely Wolf did not get 5150.

    Again, itís total speculation.

Luckily, Wolf is an only child. That pretty much squashes any sibling bickering over who gets what.

Since Wolfgang said during the Stern interview that Ed gave him the 1984 guitar "legally", I would bet Ed knew he couldn't leave this kind of thing up to courts. Hell, anyone Ed even remotely knew could pop out of the woodwork and claim Ed left them a guitar, or recordings or whatever else.
I used to jog but the ice cubes kept falling out of my glass.

I agree she's had a bad run as of late. Hope she knows people really do care for her. I am certainly glad that she was there for Ed when the shit hit the fan for him. Must have been a big comfort for Ed in those last months. Sucks that he couldn't leave this world from his home in some sort of hospice care, instead of being in a shitty hospital.
