Looking forward to hearing Think It Over, Eddie's favorite track on Wolf's album!

You know, I really hope this is in some small way helping to be cathartic to Wolf. His dad, the past three years, no doubt he had anxiety about his work and showing it to the world (whether he says it or not, it's there in some fashion below the surface), all of it. Well his work has been shown, the world is loving it, he is getting an enormous amount of "positive" sent his way. I hope it's the first small step to regaining some semblence of peace and happiness. I understand when he responds to the question "how are ya doin Wolf?" with "Horrible", straight up matter of fact immediate response. Many if not most of us have been there. Like a 2 ton weight present every waking hour. Eventually that will lighten, I hope this positivity in his life is the first nudge in that direction.

If I was his friend I'd tell him two thoughts........don't give up, just wake up every day and take care of your responsibilities....just like a robot keep moving.....it WILL get better. You will never forget and it will always hurt, but it will get better, I promise. If he is religious I would have other things to tell him. But I won't go there.

And secondly I'd tell him something my father in law once whispered in my ear as I was turning away breaking down to cry at an airport. He put his hand on my shoulder and whispered "things always get better" before hugging me and my family goodbye. This from a man that never shows emotion and always keeps his close to his vest. I'm sure he was speaking from experience and let me into his heart a little that night. Well, 3 years on and he was right. I kept moving, even if like an emotionless robot at times and my "horrible" slowly got better.

Stay with it Wolf, and it will be better again, I promise.

Lol, I thought the same thing.

Steak is always the answer for me, but because I want to live beyond the age of 50, I eat chicken way more often. I'd even respect someone who said fish (even though I hate it). But chicken?! It's the beige of meats!

At least he said grilled. I would have lost respect for him if he said oven baked chicken.

Good little interview. The host seemed like he tried to steer away from obvious, repetitive stuff.

Good interview because there were some weird questions. I wish more interviews would be like that instead of the typical soft balls.

Yeah at first I was thinking "that's kind of a waste of an interview question," but then when you consider he just did 90 minutes on Stern talking about everything else and would be doing the same thing with others, it makes a little more sense. As someone who interviews people as a profession, it's not uncommon to ask a random question like that to get the candidate to relax and get comfortable answering a question that doesn't cause anxiety. You also never know where a question like that will lead to in a conversation. Sometimes it can lead down some pretty interesting paths that you would have never discovered with your prepared line of questioning. However, I think this guy did the right thing when he realized that Wolf didn't latch on to that type of question and start to open up so he quickly went a different direction.

These press junket type interviews are always tricky, because by the fourth or fifth one the person being interviewed has already answered the same question that many times and they start to get into stock answers that don't provide fresh content for the interviewer (so I actually started on drums and my brothers started on guitar....). They can also become bored which makes for a bad interview. So people that do this for a living will shove stuff like that into an interview to wake the interview subject up and get them engaged.
CNN may think my opinion matters, but you shouldn't.

Enjoyed the interview. Different questions than from previous ones so that was good.

Exactly. It was nice to hear some different topics discussed.

Should have asked him gas or charcoal. Then we'd know what kind of person Wolf really is.

Charcoal is undoubtedly the correct answer.
