Question HELP with Wolfgang STD pickup wiring with working simple electronic mods.

I followed some posts here and did the following:

    Removed Tone pot
Changed Vol pot (Bournes 500k, kept stock treble bleed cap)
Added killswitch in toggle location (wired directly to output jack)
Moved old toggle to Tone location (w/ .02 cap direct to hot leg of neck pup)

After all that work, all was well. However tonight, I just tried to simply replace the stock 3-way with an EBMM-type DPDT on/on/on 3 way (these have 6 posts). It mainly works but I'm not getting the correct dual sound from the middle position (Its giving the bridge only), and I'm thinking that the bridge sounds a bit too harsh.

I tied all three grounds together and then tapped in a wire to ground them all on the main ground back of the volume pot. No buzzing or other issues with soldering/grounding.

With the evh pups just having 2 wires, many of the online diagrams don't square. Can someone give me a hand across the finish line with this? I'm also looking to try different caps to try different tones. I know the electronics are a weak point on the STD, so I'm trying to replace the parts bit by bit.

Sidebar: The d-tuna is also giving me fits. It seems like the thing always goes sharp on the low E, and there is no room to tune the low E with the grub screw when tuning to Eb. Its really fighting me again after I was playing it fine for a couple of weeks. String change caused issues. I set up the guitar myself (including fret work and intonation) right after purchase.

    Google
2 wire humbucker 3 way switch
I would think you may need a jumper wire across two points of the toggle switch...
I seem to remember a couple YouTube vids that addresses the d tuna issues as well
I can say making sure the strings are stretched out properly is the first step. If the d tuna was good before the string change, I suspect they need more stretching.

Thanks. I did employ the google and will try some of the jumper things I saw. Sad that I've been doing all of my own guitar electronics work since the mid-80's. I'm more of a single humbucker guy but love the neck on the Wolfgang.

The adjustment range of the D-tuna was never awesome -- -seems like the grub screw has always had zero room to work, and the other one I had on my PV wolf never had issues. Thanks for the reply. I'll look into the dtuna vids.

Has anyone ever thought of organizing some vids here by guitar "issue"? This place has alot of knowledge and not everyone is on the boards all the time. Would be a great way to be a unified resource.
