I think that was #8 or 9 on Trumps top 10 list he put out the other day. As much as I'm seeing him on offense, I don't doubt him on it. I think in order to get it passed through house and senate it'll take a stipulation to exclude those currently in office (because there's so many dirty fuckers in there) but he's going hard at it. We'll see.

Biden's legacy has to be looked at in a different light at this point. From the right he was never going to be popular, but on the left he was adored because he removed the Orange Man and saved America from it's nightmare. Then he selfishly stays in the race despite assurances he was a transition candidate while running, being the oldest candidate in history, and clearly being in mental decline. Now he's going to be known for setting up Harris to fail by putting her in the impossible situation of running a campaign in 100 days. He's ushered the Orange Man back into the White House and garnered him more support nationally than he had before along with the Senate and most likely a narrow lead in the House. It's basically their worst nightmare.

As the finger pointing continues on the left, it's inevitably ending up at Biden's door step. You can blame Harris for being a bad candidate, but why was she the candidate in the first place? Because Biden hung on too long and immediately endorsed her when he dropped out in a bid to save as much of his legacy as he could. Now the narrative is that she was put in an impossible situation, but I think that's completely wrong. Remember, she went from being 20 points down before being announced as a candidate to being the favorite going into and out of the convention. Yes it was the "sugar high" that everyone keeps repeating, but the bottom line is that America was dissatisfied with its choices for President and she had a window to make her case to a population ready and willing to hear it. She failed to do that and the populace ran back to Trump.

The person I think deserves the most blame? Jill Biden. She was complicit in hiding Biden's decline and she knew he couldn't go another 4 years much less run a grueling campaign. She saw what he was like behind closed doors without staffers at the ready. At any point she could have convinced Joe to retire, but much like Joe, she was seemingly hungry for the power her role gave her. Yes there were issues with policy, with running against the global tides, but at the end of the day, the only person that was capable of changing that, of turning the page and giving a new candidate the proper momentum and ability to sharpen themselves before running a national campaign, was to convince him to drop out and endorse an open primary. She failed and now a mentally diminished Biden has to host Trump and act like everything he said about Trump being a threat was just hyperbole.

Between $4.50 $5.00+ here in Bendover, California. Add to that, the California Air Resources Board just approved and updated low carbon fuel standards which are widely expected to add around 40 to 60 cents a gallon to prices in the near future.

Concerning lifetime appointments for the court. Leave them alone. The only reason why term limits have been brought up is due to RBG having too much pride to step down. If you make it term limits then you are going to be having judges running for election. Our court will likely be turned over in various directions due to them serving X years.

Laws IMO should be somewhat static until somebody makes a great case to overturn. They would flip flop. Take Roe vs Wade. That took 50 years to be overturned. 50 freaking years. You can disagree with the results and all that but 50 years is IMO a good period of time to review something. You put term limits in and now you are likely looking at 10-20 years.

Just because the current court doesn't favor liberal policies doesn't mean you change. Just like stacking the court. The first 45 years of my life, the court was either split or democrat leaning. I survived along with everybody else. Things work itself in time.

If you want to implment term limits, Congress is far more effective. You shouldn't have a Mtich or Nancy serving so long and making sooo much money

She does not. Just more disinformation from people exploiting social media to convince the gullible that she is somehow crooked and quoting Forbes for the statistics. Forbes denies releasing any such figures. She has a salary of $175,000 and about 45,000 in her 401K and $15,000 in student debt. She doesn't have book deals or paid for speaking engagements.

Yeah, there's definitely some shady shit going on with income in congress, which is the whole basis around the need for term limits but there's no way AOC could draw 29 large. lol 1. She doesn't have the popularity needed to draw that number even if it were shady and 2, she's not nearly smart enough to multiply her wealth that substantially either by legitimate or illegitimate means. A distant 3rd perhaps, and this is just a hunch, I think there's actually a strand of her that has decency. It's buried deep, but I think it's there. She's just so radically misguided by her ideology that sets her in the opposite of direction of right so often that it gets overlooked.
