Incredible game but Gonzaga did not play well. They should've blown that team out. Glad they pulled it out, I've always hated UCLA. But they are going to need to shoot better and play tougher D or Baylor is going to win.

It is still simply amazing the powerhouse program that Few has built at a relatively small university out in the middle of nowhere. I've loved watching his teams for years. Always a tremendous mix of terrific guard play with dominant inside players, good ball and player movement, unselfish team ball, tough defense, and great shooting.

Really hope they can play better in the title game.

First college game i've watched in I don't know how long. That Gonzaga team is a fun watch.

I thought UCLA played about as well as they could have. They had a shot to win it at the end of regulation and then got extremely unlucky at the end of OT. The game stats were very even and UCLA actually outrebounded Gonzaga 32-26. Let's see if Gonzaga can play better than they did in the 2017 title game against North Carolina, which they probably should have won.

I've liked the fact that Few has had chances to leave for bigger, so called "better" programs but hasn't. And his players generally do well in class. This is arguably his best team, but he has had a long run of pretty great teams playing this same style of ball.

Credit UCLA for an incredible tourney run. They certainly played well enough to play in the title game. As great as it is to see a team win like that, it's always tough for the other team to lose like that.

Yes, Gonzaga will need to play much better if they're going to finish out their undefeated season.

UCLA was a 14-1/2 point underdog in that game and were a great defensive play from Drew Timme away from winning it.

Timme has probably been the best player in the tournament. He and Suggs came up huge on the defensive end when they needed it last night.

Gonzaga dominated UCLA in the paint. UCLA played really well on offense and hit a lot of big shots to stay in that game.

That guy is technically so good in the post. Real throwback. Hope it translates to the pros.

Agreed. He's also quite the character. Normally I wouldn't be rooting for someone like that, or his undefeated team, but I can't seem to help myself. Go Zags!

    Line opened with Gonzaga -4.5.

Timme reminds me of Kevin McHale. Always in the right place.

That's a nice comp. Based on my total time watching him (one game) I only worry about his ability to guard quicker guys in the pros, but typically guys who are that strong technically will over-achieve at any level.

Would think his lack of quickness isn't as much a concern in the modern "three on one break, hey let's all set up to take a three" NBA.
