Just saw this on my YT feed last night. THIS was the greatest band of all time. Those first four tours were the very definition of power, energy, showmanship, musicianship, and chemistry.

Its almost hard to fathom that these guys here were just the opener on their first tour. No way any bands could follow this and outdo them. Love it at the end when the lights go up and the roadies start dismantling VH's gear and the crowd boos lol.

I always loved the intro to ATBL in Fresno. Ed and Dave look genuinely impressed with each other during the scream off, which is somewhat rare for Ed to show but he does and then they are both so on point that song.

I think that's one of the coolest things they've ever done.

Yeah, pretty amazing call and response. Just another good shot at all the "Dave was never good live" idiots.

It's not that this isn't great. At least there's something from this time period.

It's just the usual, though. Short, low quality, incomplete...
Hard to get super stoked over it. For me, anyway. I've been waiting decades for that ultimate video release. '79 Fresno with matching high quality video sort of thing. Then I'll be freakin' out!
