Springsteen has had a channel for damn near 15 years on Sirius. Wanna say it’s 22, e street radio. Normally 27 is deep tracks. BIlly Joel was 32.

VH needs its own channel just to counter those 2 guys.

This 100% speculation on my part, and I've said this on here before for years, but this is just from my observation, no corroborating evidence, nothing, so take it for what it is, 100% bullshit.

i think DLR has some form of neurological disorder that impacts muscle control, and has for years. Which would impact control over your vocal chords and of course, your singing.

I believe the scares we saw on his head after he shaved his head was for deep impulse implants, and I think why Ed and Al didn't give him shit about his vocals was because they knew about it.

I think to remember Eddie there should be a memorial concert, with all proceeds going to cancer research. And apart from the usual suspects, everything should be done to also have Clapton and Page also participate. Imagine having AVH be Page's drummer on a LZ tune, he'd dig that. We're celebrating EVH with words, but the true way to celebrate him is with music.

I didn't notice anything unusual regarding Dave's hands in that video. Then I read people's comments and thought I must've really missed something. Watched it again. Nope. Still don't see anything that was obviously unusual.

However, I have always felt that Dave has some neurological thing going on that effects muscular movement, as DD suggested. I hope I'm wrong, but I've noticed he's had some subtle 'jerky' arm movements every now and then in recent years. But in this interview nothing made me think that.

interesting theory. Familial tremor perhaps? Think of Katherine Hepburn who suffered from this. Tremors in the hands, neck and throat that affected her voice. I could see if David wanted to paint, and worked so hard to learn the art, that he would take such an aggressive approach to treatment

Yeah I went back and watched it several times ( it's on youtube already) and didn't see anything odd, If any of you who thought you did could point it out. But I agree that there seemed to be something off for years with Roth. Hope we are all wrong tho.

I agree. Having a permanent VH channel would be appropriate, considering that 99% of the music played on Ozzy's Boneyard & Hair Nation would never have existed (or, at minimum, would have sounded MUCH different) without Edward's influence.

I doubt that happens, though.

I like the idea, and it's certainly been kicked around here a lot the last couple weeks, but I can certainly do without Clapton. I like the guy as a player, and love Cream, but he never really gave much respect to Ed as a player. I'd rather see all the people who have spoken glowingly of Ed who respected him or who were influenced by him. There are no shortage of well known players who would do it.

The only one who would want to participate in that would be Sam, and maybe Wolf. Al wouldn't want to do it, and without Al there, what's the point?

I don’t like Clapton as a player and I really don’t care to see him have anything to do with Ed. I can’t remember him ever acknowledging Ed as a player or a person. So fuck him. He couldn’t play a Van Halen song if his life depended on it anyway.
