I find the sound too dry and compressed, but as someone says above, the band was pretty tight and it's absolutely a pleasure to listen.

that sounds great. To this day I can't figure out why they didn't just release something like this for the Tokyo disks....something from the soundboard. Ed, Al and Wolf sound really good together.

Band sounds great. Wolfgang does a great job. I know he isn't Mike but when I am listening to this he isn't a distraction. However even with Dave (yes soundboard makes it sound worse) its great to listen to.

Was watching the premiere of the Amazing Race and they started at the Hollywood Bowl. Told my wife that is where Van Halen’s last show was.
