Happy Birthday Sammy!

I discovered his music in 1981 with the song Heavy Metal from the soundtrack of the same name and couldn't stop listening to it. I immediately bought Standing Hampton, Montrose, some of his Capitol albums and newer albums when released.

I was so excited when I heard Sammy was joining Van Halen. It was almost like putting together a dream band for me and it didn't disappoint.

I don't usually wish celebrities a happy birthday cos they're not gonna see it, I don't care and what's the point?

Since Ed passed, I'm thinking it's a good thing if for noother reason then to have that good vibe out there.
