In all fairness not everyone is into the social media thing of having to comment on everything that happens in the world. It's not required and doesn't weigh against them.
Luke did post a nice pic of he and Ed with a few heartfelt words. They were close. That kind of pain is private.

I agree.
No one should be taking names to see who has or hasn't commented on any particular social media platform.
When I was on FB, I would either message (or text on the phone) happy birthday wishes to friends. Once I was asked why I never wished any friends happy birthday.
I said, I always wish friends happy birthday. You just don't see it.
I'm not comparing wishing someone happy birthday with offering condolences, but just because the public doesn't see it, doesn't mean it wasn't offered, or won't be offered.
Utilize. Improvise. Adapt. Overcome.
I love coffee and sarcasm.

I don’t care who hasn’t commented, but I’m certainly humbled by who has. We all know the impact Eddie has had, of course we do, we’re fans, but when I see all these people somber and caring, some who knew him well and some who hardly knew him of at all.
He had a reach he never understood. I don’t think he ever knew the kind of impact he had on so many people.
That private man, the shy guy, the one who pushed the public eye away, that guy was not reality. He fought demons, and yet at the end of the ride, I think he found more peace and solace then he had ever had in his life. I think the last 11 years may have been his very best, and his exit was with the people that loved him the most and knew him the best.
Edward, I wish life was more like those last 11 years for you, but know that you made millions of lives better, let us know when that seventh seal gets cracked and we’ll light up the sky
Edward, finally unchained, love you
