Yeah just a little bit ago I saw that collage of all the tributes like SoFi Stadium, MSG, The Whisky, the billboards, etc. etc. all together. Just beautiful.

Even with Edwards passing, I'll never tell another man he's wrong if he feels Edward was just one of many great guitarist to walk the earth. But as Keith Urban so eloquently writes, there are very few game changers. Very few touchstones. Very few that had the reach that Edward had towards a generation of non-musicians.

Fuck me...any wonder why the synchronicity between he and Al is unmatched?

I read a lot of neat stories on facebook (sorry if they've already been mentioned, I'm on a quick break from work). Sass Jordan has a couple of posts where she expands a bit on her visit to 5150 in 96. Jimmy Barnes had a good facebook post about Ed but he said Ed asked him to join VH whereas Ed and Al have always maintained he sent them a demo....so believe what you want I guess
