Yeah I recently watched some of the VH3 show in Australia from 98 and Gary does look like he just got out of a Saturday Night Fever audition, lol. It looks good on him though. He did a great job though with that show. As long as the music sounds good that's all that matters, the band sounded tight that show.

DLR wears tights on some of the older shows which I thought looked silly to. In 98 though with bands like Marilyn Manson around Gary's choice of attire was rather tame.

It's interesting that Gary's clothes is a talking point when we look back at Sammy's clothing when he joined the band. Lol

I think all of the band members made some "interesting" fashion decisions over the years.

I believe that most, if not all, live albums aren't exactly live. Even Alchemy by Dire Straits is not 100% live. The albums are edited, overdubbed, songs are taken from different nights... There was one Polish album released in 1980 which was said to be 100% live. The actual unedited version, though still the songs are taken from two different nights, was released only a few years ago. Guess what? The original, edited version is better.

Yeah, touch-ups, editing, re-recording of things, etc are done on live albums. But usually not to the point of LRHRN. That was ridiculous, especially for VH.

I always thought Sam looked cool except maybe for '95. Even in '86! I'm a fan of the parachute pants or whatever they're called. In '95 he dressed like a regular human being a lot of the shows--just a t-shirt, shorts, and tennis shoes with tube socks. Dressed like he was going to a convenience store or something on a summer day.

So, what does that have to do with it? Thaf came across as more like Ed was trying to find a reason why the Cherone tour didn't work with a lot of fans. It is what it is. Still doesn't change my opinion on how ridiculous Sam looked in 2004.

One could argue everyone looked ridiculous in the 70s and 80s, except that was truly the age of bigger than life "rockstars" so the ridiculous was cool lol.

I dont know, I just hated those stupid prison pajamas and his ridiculous goatee, like Sam was trying to be metal or something. Every other VH tour, I never had an issue with how he looked. He looked like a hard rock frontman. Well, minus the jumping jacks, but I digress.

I have seen people comment on it before, as far as Gary, but he sure seemed like he had lost a lot of weight around the III tour, compared to other times he was with Extreme. Kind of like how Dave looked a bit gaunt on the 2015 tour.

    Not gonna do that anymore.

There were 35 demos recorded for ADKOT.
They were "all done and ready to go" according to Ed in 2012.
There are at least 22 songs left over from those sessions.
How good the demos are and how far Dave got on the vocals or lyrics isn't known, but that would be the obvious place to start.
    The other questrion would be:
Should they finish what they started and is that even possible without Ed?

Yeah, I thought the "prison pants" Sammy was kinda strange too.
June. 1984. Kemper Arena. Kansas City, Mo. My very first concert. The lights go out. The spotlights rotate over the crowd while a wailing guitar overtakes the screams and cheers. The opening riff of "Unchained" begins as a lone spotlight illuminates Eddie Van Halen. By himself. I was never the same after that.

They should only release music that Ed was finished with his part of, and would be proud of. Finishing the work without Ed I think would be up to Wolf. He knows his fathers wishes and and most importantly Wolf and Al can execute Ed's musical vision.

I have a feeling that there is loads of pretty much finished stuff though
