I bought a new vehicle last week. Of course it came with Sirius for six months. If I can figure out a way to get a decent deal, I might subscribe if the Van Halen Tribute channel is kept.

The Beatles channel is pretty good, with solo efforts, cover songs, spin-off artists, etc. I could see the VH channel being just as good.

Get in touch with them a week before your trial is set to expire. Tell them you want to subscribe, but you will not pay $300.00 a year for a subscription. That's what I did when mine expired. I got it for half that, which I was willing to pay. This past August when that yearly subscription was set to expire, I called them back and said I wasn't going to pay the full price. I actually got it for $99.00 plus fees this time. My first subscription was for $119.00 plus fees.

Be prepared to let it go if you don't get satisfaction, or hang up and call back later. You'll most likely get another customer service rep. In a month or so, they'll be emailing you that they want you back. I'll never pay full price for their service.

Good God, I just got an email saying they were adding a channel named Onederful which was dedicated to one hit wonders. So they can dedicate a channel to bands that got lucky once, but they can't dedicate a channel to Van Halen. Just ridiculous
