Nick is above and beyond the best there is in the community. The stuff he does is true art. I always appreciated his work, but my appreciation went to a whole other level as I worked on my 5150 and compared the details of the real deal to his.

Absolutely. When he built mine, we went back & forth on specs (approximately '88 in wear, neck the same shape as my EBMM EVH, low friction Bourns pot, Pariah pickup. etc.), and he knocked it out of the park. He truly is an artist.

Much smaller than some of the amazing treasure troves in this thread, but I'll add my small collection to the effort.

My late 80's Westone Spectrum isn't a true "EVH" guitar, but the superstrat category would be much less prominent without Ed (and the guitar does sport an EVH Frankenstein humbucker). EVH Wolfgang Special. And I yanked my MXR pedals out of my pedal board for the occasion...

I do have some banged up Wolfgang specials and while I am a bit apprehensive posting this figured in a small thread like this, it would be ok. Long story short, my ex mother in law won a contest during 5150 to be flown to MSG to meet the band. Did so and got a free Kramer which they autographed in front of her. Anyway they knew I was a huge VH fan and got this as a birthday gift. Cool that she never asked for it back when I got divorced.

Only played it a few times for obvious reasons. Let a few friends who are huge VH fans hold and pluck a bit. Just to get the DNA.

Cheap Focus but my prize possession along with my CC Deville guitar pick. Ha
