I haven't either, but i think it is!

It lists an opening band i've never heard of, so it could be.

I just love the sort of neon styled graphic, with the plane.
It's like a bar styled theme, in a way.

Unless someone was using photoshop back in ‘79, I don’t think it’s authentic. The sun flare, VH text overlay and shading on the plane are obvious PS effects—not to mention the neon glow.

If you buy that, you deserve the ridicule that will follow.

    That's embarrassingly fake, man.

    I guess i won't buy it then.

I just liked the look/design of it, even if it's a modern day creation.
But 30.00 (with shipping) seems a bit much.

Definitely, not real but if you like it Jape....why not. I've got a few fan creations, myself. Good art is good art.

At times I used to (still do) imagine 12 or 13-year-old Ed just learning to play the guitar. Concentrating on getting the right fingers on the right strings, playing around with palm muting for the first time like all guitar players do at the beginning.... it's oddly comforting knowing that such a genius was once a beginner like me too. Not knowing at the time the level of talent and fame he would later achieve.

I'm lying awake now thinking about the other bookend to his guitar story - the last time his hands ever brought music out of a guitar. I wonder what were the circumstances...and if he knew then it would be the last time.

    Still sucks.

    Still sucks.
What's amazing to me is how naturally it must have all come to him.

I don't picture him struggling early on, but i do picture him playing constantly.
But he had a gift, where some people just have incredible artistic ability that
    seems to flow.

Even the little things like pick slides and palm muting.

He took those things and refined them in such a way, where it just sounded
    so modern.

Listen to those early hard rock pick slides, like Angus Young.
    They were straight up noise.

Ed had a technique where he made his pick slide sound completely controlled
    and powerful.

He knew where to mute, where to slide the fingers, where to deaden the strings.

Ace Frehley did some tapping on ALIVE II, and it sounded like a shrill noise effect.

Eddie does it, one year later, and it sounds like a keyboard playing a classical piece.

The guy was just beyond & fully formed.

The Eddie Van Halen in the Jump video is cemented forever for me. That's my Eddie.

That's the one that mesmerized me as a kid.
