While driving around today listening to VH, it struck me for the gazillionth time how cool the beginning of this song is with Dave accompanied by just the bluesy, kinda jazzy acoustic. I have always assumed that Eddie played all the guitars, but I wonder. Is that Eddie or DLR on acoustic? And another question. Is is just Eddie on "Could This Be Magic" or are both Eddie and DLR playing?

Ed on TYWH. Both Ed and Dave on CTBM. Ed is playing the slide. If you just key in on what Dave is playing on CTBM, it is really good.

I wish they had done a couple more like that. Though he doesn't play much, Dave has a unique way of playing. That traditional opening on Ice Cream Man and the breezy intro of Stay Frosty sound simple enough but they both have a style that's all Dave.
