Proof that if you ever want to play like Eddie and you don't have some sort of grasp on the blues....you'll never come close.

This also shows...and the Ed-heads won't like this.....that aside from his stock licks Ed really doesn't know what else to play in a jam situation. You can see him starting a stock lick that we've all heard before and he stops because he realizes it won't work where his hand is positioned. He jut adjusts his stock licks for where the beat is going.

I still say that I'd have loved if Ed just sheltered himself away and listened to the blues for a year and then came out with a blues trio album. It would have been spectacular.
