So dude bought Cantrell's guitar for $7g's and just GAVE it back to Jerry and didn't want his money back?

I mean, if I found it and paid like a hundred bucks for it, I probably wouldn't want it back just to get a chance to meet him and all, but 7,000 bucks, and you just eat that? "Yeah, here it is, Jerry. Nah, I'm good, you don't have to pay me for it"

AIC as a whole & Jerry as a guitar player are at the top of the heap for '90s music, IMO. He's one of the few from that era who can go pound for pound with most of the '80s guys in terms of overall playing & especially, unique tone. That Bogner Fish preamp he used in the early AIC days is instantly recognizable after hitting a chord.

As far as Ed goes, no surprise at all. Drunk, sober or otherwise, he's always been extremely generous with giving back. Hell, didn't he give 75 guitars to an LA school around the ADKOT tour because they cut the music budget?
