But that's not what he said.

I'm not sure why anyone needed to refute 1986's comment, which is his reflection of VH at the time. Not to be pedantic but VH could be on top of the world in 1992 and 1984 or even allow them to be even more on top of the world in 1984. He's also obviously making a reference to the song from the album that that tour supported. Jeez.

I’d say 92 was the greatest for the Hagar era. They won an award for right now and they toured the world. It was when Ed was still on top of his game and they had a good catalog to play. They also got along and Mikey was still there.

Anytime Mikey is there, I call that a win.
