    Wow.
Sammy did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it.
Michael did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it.

Q: who was the biggest douche that you have worked with?

A: Eddie Van Halen hands down he threatened all the stage hands that if we wernt all pushed to the side when he got off stage that he would "bash our faces in"

Now the new David-Lee-Roth-Van Halen album, ďTokyo Dome In Concert,Ē is available for purchase, and itís super, super, super, super, super, super, crazy bad. - Doug Elfman

Still no info on Vincent Jackson's cause of death. The family believes that chronic alcoholism and concussions were contributing factors.

Curious if they are going to autopsy Marty. He was an old school NFL Linebacker, played in 79 games, died of Alzheimer's, good change he had CTE.

Every kid from the 50s 60s that played with those Hutch helmets has CTE including me. They rang like a bell with your brain being the striker. Leather would have been better.

Wow! Was there anything else inside that helmet besides the webbing?

I used to laugh at my fatherís old leather helmet. With the exception of friction contact, it didnít really protect you at all.

Some had ear hole pads but like not much. I played back yard and pee wee ball with one of these. I use to paint the Baltimore Colts horseshoe on it. I got an incisor tooth knocked out with a 2 bar face mask on the playground. Still got the original crown in there amazing. lol

My dad used to laugh that by the end of the season, those old leather helmets had softened up so much that you could fold it up and put it in your coat pocket on the way home from practice.

I look at the helmet my son uses now in college, vs what I used to play with, and it's akin to a Timex v Mars Rover in terms of technology gap.
