Sorry but I have never ever seen anything that we are experiencing right now. I know the easy answer is "well we are coming out of COVID" Ok but man we have had numerous shortages on items that are not related to anything. Eggs isn't related to baby formula. Yet both were huge. We still have supply chain issues 3 years after the fact. 2 years of St Pete. Nothing is being done. Its now the new normal. Cars inflated prices.

Then we have our federal mailboxes being broken and and are powerless. Its the new norm. Our USPS says "don't drop anything in our post office boxes" Its a federal crime yet nothing being done

State Farm and Allstate are no longer issuing new insurance to Kia/Hyndai cars made from 2015 to 2019 due to a anti locking mech being hacked. I think 400 were stolen in Columbus last month.

Dealerships here are getting robbed 2-3 times a month by kids breaking windows and stealing new cars.

Then for me you have our DOJ interferring with Free Speech. I know many here think its perfectly ok but I don't.

Then we are told "don't worry everything is fine" Sorry its not and part of me is wondering if its not part of master plan to disrupt our world. NObody is doing anything to fix it or if they are, they are being shut down

Yeah my cousins wife is a union rep for USPS. Says its crazy how much shit is being stolen yet nothing.

Its like somebody simply wants lawlessness to rule and simply make our society crumble from within. I know people will say "well it was this way forever." Hmmm I don't think so. Its larger than COVID. Its larger than Trump, Biden, etc.

I used to scoff at conspiracy theorists but man that new saying of the difference of a conspiracy theory and truth is 6 months is being proven more correct every month.

I know bird flu helped with eggs but I have been told for 3 years all you need to do to protect yourself is put a mask on. Maybe it would have been better to outfit chickens with cloth masks.? Too soon?

In the last year my electric bill failed to show up twice. Been at my current address since 1990 never happened before. Pay all my bills online now.

I do not ship anything worth more then a CD or Blu-ray via USPS anymore. Everything substantial goes via UPS or FedEx. Oh yeah, and my regular mail typically arrives around 6-7pm, long after dark in the Fall/Winter months.

Same here and if my carrier is on vacation they will skip days.

After having 3 checks fail to arrive at their destination within a few months of each other, I called our local post office and spoke with the postmaster about the issue. Basically blew it off and said that any mail sent other than certified mail was at your own risk. I told him it was funny that this was the first time in over 20 years that I’ve ever had a problem with at-risk mail. Switched every payment possible to electronic a few years back. It’s a lot easier.

Certain things seem to be delayed/lost more than others. I too have not received several incoming checks made out to me in the last 2 years from the DC area and they had to be canceled and resent. But all the junk mail ads no problemo. I'm pretty much all electronic ACH or credit card now.

So true! That’s about all we receive in the mail nowadays other than occasional Amazon packages.

I don’t know if this is ironic or coincidental but with the amount of worry and effort spent on the number of MIA checks and check stops issued through my bank over the years, the one that finally got me was through a local transaction.

After the incident, the business owner assured me that my check was handled in the same manner as before over the past 15+ years—straight into his vault. To make a long story short, his weekly deposit was made two days later (after my transaction) during normal bank operating hours. Two days later (after his deposit), that check was used in a fraudulent mobile deposit in the amount of $2400–$100 less than the mobile limit. The thing that is upsetting is that the check was forged using rectangle blocks edited to replace the number, date, pay to and amount. Also, no signature. Bank of America allowed the mobile transaction and of course my financial institution released the funds. It’s been almost 6 months and I’m still waiting a formal declaration regarding the incident from my bank. As my bank rep told me, “we’ll let you know by mail after our investigation as to the temporary reimbursement to your account and if it’s permanent or not.” So nice of them…

There hoping they head over to a dealer and buy an EV. Then it will be 8 then 9 etc. That's extortion. Let me know when the statue of liberty needs scuba gear. Or when all the banks move out of Manhattan. Or when Obama sells his beach home on Martha's vineyard and moves to Nebraska.
