    Default PV Wolf Floyd help.

Hi. I have a Peavey Wolfgang Floyd Rose I'm trying to move into a new body. It’s been in a Strat style body for about 15 years. One of the posts started moving and the body actually cracked. Time to move on unfortunately. I’m having problems fitting the bridge into the new body. It won’t sit right. I did all the measurements and it appears the bridge and new body are all Floyd specs. I think the large nut under the bridge is hitting wood. And I definitely dremeled out room for it in the old body to make this bridge fit. Is it me? Anyone else have problems fitting these bridges into different bodies because of the arm adjustment nut underneath? Thanks.
VH III is Ed's solo album. So everybody who keeps saying they wish he'd do one needs to stfu and listen to III. Then stfu again.

Yes, I’ve had issues like that in the past. Peavey Floyds are a different size than regular German Floyd’s. You may have to get that dremel out again.

I bought an “Original” Floyd arm. Actually the last chrome turbo arm they had. Dropped right into that Ping made Peavey bridge. Turbo arm has an Allen wrench for the nut at one end. For when you can’t find an Allen wrench. $14. I already had to use it today! Guitar is strung and tuned up! Did I mention it’s a KNE Frankie Azusa body?

Side note the real Original Floyd arm is the Peavey set up with the larger bolt underneath. Like Eds 5150 Kramer. Arm screws in. Newer Original arms have a smaller collar underneath and that threaded thumbscrew that tightens the arm in top.
