80's songs tuning & effects

So I'm getting older... and just can't seem to remember what 80's bands / songs (other than VH) were usually tuned to standard, flat, drop D etc..... or which effects /settings I used on them back when I played out. My notebook was trashed in an angry wife rage fit years ago.....

Stuff anywhere from Ratt-Dokken-Motley Crue-Billy Idol etc to the Eddie Money-Bryan Adams type stuff.....If anyone cares to share what they know it would be much appreciated. Trying to play my way thru a mid-life crisis
