    He's a master.

I love how funky the riff is in "Brick in the wall," yet it feels almost sinister,
    along with his vocal.

And his solo at the end, still funky, yet it FEELS really cold (in a good way).
It has this isolated feel to it, that reflects the theme of the song.

And Gilmour was the king of the "over bend."
He'll do two bends in one, where it goes up a whole step, then directly into the over-bend.
    Perfectly in tune, of course.

He loves doing that, where it's become his signature.

Been listening to "The Wall," a lot, lately.

What a masterpiece, plus Bob Ezrin's incredible production work.

I love when the drums & Bass come stomping in, near the beginning of
    "Run like Hell."
It sounds so menacing, yet you could almost dance to it.

And the ending, with Gilmour's guitar playing off the delay.
It really evokes a mood of anxiety and danger, just a stellar part.

Shameless Allman plug. Gregg has said that Gilmour was his favorite player after his brother.

I'll NEVER forget the first time I heard this. I don't remember a lot of firsts but this one...yeah. They're always 1 in the morning pitch black in my room and volume just enough to hear.

Like many who don't get reaction vids. I don't get mashups or sexy chicks playing guitar vids. YMMV though.

They had a GNR concert on the radio Sunday night, a re-broadcast, and it was all
    Appetite & Illusion stuff.

At one point, i thought, Man, Slash is way better than i ever gave him credit for.

Turns out it was from 2012, and Bumblefoot was the guitar player.

He actually nailed the tone and all the parts, but every so often you'd hear these
    amazing flourishes mixed in.

But it really sounded like Slash, just with ridiculous chops.

When a mashup is done well, they are great.

I love the Highway to Hell/Runnin' with the Devil mashup.
If I don't respond to you it means I have you on ignore, which means you are a douchenozzle.

Emperor Brett - "I can't believe you guys are analyzing song-by-song Van Halen III? What next, analyzing the script of Stroker Ace looking for some shred of Citizen Kane?"

David Lee Roth did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it!

Going way off topic here...... But yeah BFoot played some great shows with GnR.

Going even further back...... Buckethead had some insane Nighttrain outro solos.

I love Bucket, but he seemed more of a distraction in GNR.

But that Bumblefoot GNR show i heard, he sounded fantastic.
He was pretty loyal to the actual parts and Slash tones, while inflecting a few of his
    own things.
