Rumours is a great album, but Hotel California is better.

I'd take Rumours over Hotel California all day long.

But I don't have the hard on for The Eagles like some do here.
If I don't respond to you it means I have you on ignore, which means you are a douchenozzle.

Emperor Brett - "I can't believe you guys are analyzing song-by-song Van Halen III? What next, analyzing the script of Stroker Ace looking for some shred of Citizen Kane?"

David Lee Roth did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it!

I don't think LZ IV is Zep's best either. I know that is the common thought, but I would take Houses of the Holy and PG before LZIV, maybe even I and II as well.

    Disagree.

Rumours is the superior album, although HC is a masterpiece.

But the writing, the flow, the three separate songwriters at the top of their game,
    it's quite a statement.

Rumors is yacht rock. It sounds like it could be a seals and Croft album.

The two albums and bands at that time in history kinda of mirror each other. They shouldn't have gone up against each other in the first round.

I agree somewhat on II and PG, but not on I and HOTH.
