Yankee Rose is favorite song!

This is very cool. I agree with Vai that the sound of Billy Sheehan's bass carries the attitude of the song.

I just came across the same video and was planning on posting it. I find these types of brief and detailed topics much better interesting than the typical type interviews that ask questions like, "what was it like working with David Lee Roth?"

My local rock station played that song a LOT back when it first came out and they had an extended intro with Dave doing a promo for the radio station. I can't remember if he talked to the guitar some more during the promo part or just talked over the bass line, but it was really cool and I remember thinking, "Wow! They got David Lee Roth to promo our crappy little rock station in my little town!" Anybody else remember anything like that?

Wow that is the strangest pocket/butt post I must say I've ever done. Huh. Anyway I love Steve Vai so I'll just throw that in there to distract from my butt talking without my knowledge.
