When you say Bamberg, do you say Bamberg Germany, or Bamberg Bavaria?

I'm guessing it is the former, and just a guess, but I bet you can't name the sixteen states in Germany. Don't look it up, name them. This dumb American knows them.

It makes sense that it's city/country when you're referring to foreign cities. Hands up if you know what province Rome is in, or what region Paris is in.

If I sat down and really thought about it, I could probably get most of Canada's, but I don't think I would get all of them. I know I would probably spell one of them wrong (Saskatchewan?).

Former leadership candidate for the conservatives, almost won it in 2017 (it was 50 to 49 type vote). Left soon after to create his own "far right" (by Canadian standards) party. Doesn't get much support (hasn't won a single seat) but probably bleeds out enough support from the conservatives to lose them a few seats. Might have cost them the last federal election.

In our elector system, they have 0 power but I'm sure Polievre wants them to go away as he's a pain in his ass. For context, in my riding (typically liberal but votes conservative at times) the winner (liberal) got 23,423votes, 2nd place was the Conservativewith 20,438. The lunatic who ran for the peoples party got 2735 votes. Not enough if all those votes went conservative but close enough to be a pain.

I heard today that Poilievre said he's the "opposite of Trump." The whole country is hostile to the current American government - conservatives and liberals. Canada. It's like whacky wednesday. The whole thing about this country's foreign policy was that hostile countries were always an ocean away. It worked pretty well. Who in their right mind wants to fuck with this?!!?

Pierre has been Temu Trump and Maple Syrup MAGA for years. It will be very hard for him to say he is the opposite of Trump now. He acted and talked just like him. You can see it in this video.

The first thing Carney did is steal major planks of the conservative platform. So the liberals can't even argue this election on policy anymore. Now it's just personal shots. The party needs to be humbled
