    + 1- I Love live albums.

Always have since getting KISS Alive under the Christmas Tree in 1975 from my sister.

The packaging- That's what make live albums special. Quite often doubles with fold out covers & posters.

Many times contractual obligations but nonetheless still very cool to this day.

I just attempted to cast a vote but got lost in the shuffle these kinda pick an album/artist/movie competition threads are too much work for me I'd probably go back & edit my answer takes too long & couldnt be bothered. Maybe I'll try again later.

But- Just think...VH fans always griping about no Live VH album from 81 or whenever....

Keep in mind....AC/DC never issued a live album in the early '80's ....not until 1991...when it was too late...of course there's Let There Be Rock but it wasn't easy to get at the time....& no double live from the Back In Black or FTATR, or Flick Of The Switch tour....they went a LONG time between If You Want Blood Youve Got It...which should by now be reissued and expanded....

Motley Crue never put out a double live in the 80's...nor did ZZ Top, RATT,....

Ideally VH Should've put out a double live after the 81 tour. Donn Landee was in charge recording the Oakland shows with the Wally Heider Mobile Recording Truck. Even though as we know theres only the 3 videos for the most part those 24 track Wally Heider tapes recorded by Donn Landee must surely still be stitting on a shelf collecting dust.

Never mind video....Sound is what matters....we listen to music...yes fun to watch too....but those tapes are there & we could still yet have a nice Live VH Live album from 1981.

    VH Oakland 1981!!!!!!!!

Only 3 MTV videos....but the audio gets my vote for....

#1 Live Album of All Time!!!!!!

Tokyo Tapes is the far superior Live Scorps album.

That is a classic from '78, up there with UFO & Thin Lizzy.
