Supertramp vs Electric Light Orchestra
Supertramp vs ELO
That is today's matchup. Both hugely popular 70's artists with many big hits regularly played on the radio to this day.
This Poll is sponsored & brought to you by Leaping Larry's Used Stereo shop where the 70's never ended & 8-tracks are still new.

David Lee Roth did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it!

Are you fucking kidding....not even close my ass....
Ever heard of a little album called BREAKFAST IN AMERICA....
It had numerous big time hits...The Logical Song, Goodbye Stranger, etc, etc,
When Noel Monk was offered VH a sponsership deal from Sparkomatic for the 1984 tour & VH passed they signed Supertramp. They were huge back in the early 80's. They played Empire Stadium here.
It's a very close matchup. ELO also hugely prominent back then I think I read one of the most top 40 singles of any artist.
It could go either way. It's a very even matchup.

ELO
"He has a swaggering retro machismo that will give hives to the Steinem cabal" -Camille Paglia on Donald Trump
"But, fucking with Brook is like fucking with hot shit on and ax handle. You just don't get a grip"-track5
"Make way for the bad guy"- Tony Montana
'This hamburger don't need no helper"- David Lee Roth
"I wish Bon Jovi would've given me a call before he recorded all of his hits, because the lyrics would've been smarter, the melodies would've been much more smashing, and they would've sold a lot fewer records." -David Lee Roth
"My beef is people thinking Bon Jovi is good cuz they sold lots of records to housewives." -tango
"But being number one doesn’t really mean jack fuck all. We sold twice as many records as other records that year (1984) that landed in the Number One position." ~Eddie Van Halen

Yeah, I haven't seen any reports of offers from other teams. I was easily expecting to see the first $500M contract in MLB or perhaps upwards of $600M but never thought I'd see $700M. Seems they...
