Dweezil shows off the Rasta
Did anyone else catch this video from a few days ago of Dweezil Zappa giving a tour of the Rasta guitar? It's cool to see it up close. He talks about it being "in pieces" when he got it - I wonder how many of the bits are original or have been replaced. His observations of the neck dimensions are interesting too - describing it as wider and flatter than the offerings from the guitars Eddie has sold to the public. Anyway, if you haven't seen it, check it out. It's worth a few minutes to watch.

Nice! I saw this video the other day! The Rasta Guitar used to be The See Ya Later Guitar. Thanks for the post!!
An internet fan (and a friend of mine) told that to Dweezil years ago, probably at the Metroamp.com forum.
Little Zappa had no idea of that guitar's history!

"That explains the hip replacement"
No fucking shit, Mark. Great observation and I never thought of that. Franky is probably just as heavy. The fact Ed moved on stage as much he did playing such heavy instruments is almost more impressive than the playing he did on such instruments.
They are heavy as fuck.

Oh no....I'd much rather argue about that subject than the one at hand.
