VH Feel Your Love Tonight Video!

Ok so I finally decided to put up a video for the first time in a while. I've got a bunch of VH songs I recorded, but have been too lazy to make them into videos. This is one of my favorite VH songs, and the solo is not easy, but I'm happy with how it came out. I used my new Shell Pink Charvel So Cal. I didn't like the pickups it came with, so I switched them to a Duncan JB and a Jazz. And I didn't use a Frankenstein because you can't coil split it, and the pickups in these guitars are split. And I'm just not a huge fan of the EVH Wolfgang pickups, even though I do have them in a couple guitars. And yes my hair is out of control, I hate it. Thanks Covid-19.

That was really good, Brett. I think the all-around best cover I've seen/heard from you. Really good execution. Best attack I've heard from you, all around, by far (not that it wasn't good before). Timing. Everything. Another 3 months of covid isolation and you'll be a guitar god.

Your hair's f'd up though.

Yeah hair sucks. It’s not like I’m going anywhere anyway, but I can’t go back to work with it like that. I wish I didn’t look like a Holocaust victim with a shaved head or I’d do it.

No man I appreciate that, I’ve actually really been honing in on the details when it comes to stuff now. I know these songs so well but it’s getting the swing of the riffs and details that really makes a difference.

Pretty cool...I have found that my Charvel San Dimas HH seems to get the best VH tone of all my guitars.

Good stuff man!

My favorite solo off the debut and you did it well.

Nothing to do with you but there's a lot of reverb on the backing vocals of that backing track.

I tried something different and put up a discussion about my recording. Obviously the things I pointed out are nothing for you guys but we’ll see how it goes. I actually missed one thing I wanted to discuss. Next time I’ve got to write a script I think.

It’s not a guitar lesson or anything it’s just a quick video about things I noticed when I recorded the song.
