Any list of all non-studio album recordings?
Been meaning to ask this for awhile. Maybe someone already has it compliled. if not, with all the sitting at home we'll be doing maybe we can work on it together.
Is there definitve list of every non album studio recording VH has done? Would be especially great done chonologically. I know that back in the days when bit torrents were new and huge, i downloaded everything VH related I saw, especially studio boots/demo's. They all got backed up to cd's and are sitting in a large cd folder. It got pretty confusing which songs were on which collections, Demo Daze, Looney Tunes, Gene Simmons Demo's, etc. I stopped trying to figure it out and left it for a later time. 15 years or so later...
Would take forever to go through and sort. I'm fairly OCD, I like doing tedious things like that while watching some tv in the background to relax, but before I tackle it want to make sure it isn't done already. I have an mp3 player or two laying around unused anymore, would like to fill one of them up will those tracks. Just be nice to have it all documented anyways."I think good rock music is more than profanity, screeching vocals, wailing guitars and pounding drums. " Dick Hogan-Music Reviewer

I want one of every studio recording they ever made, that aren't included on official releases, that have been leaked out into the public. If they don't want to release this stuff officially, I'll make my own damn box set! I'm just trying to make sure someone hasn't done it already. I fogot about VHboots.com, thats a start.
Next I'll work on live stuff. One of every song they ever played live. Lots of interesting things in the club days. Then after they were signed I just need "the best" show from each tour and of course any "one off's or rarely played songs. Again, making my own "box set""I think good rock music is more than profanity, screeching vocals, wailing guitars and pounding drums. " Dick Hogan-Music Reviewer

There are few leftovers from Blueprint, the WB Demos that haven't been used, or are alternate versions (like House of Pain, the vocal melody and lyrics are totally different on the demo).
There is I Want Action from 5150.
Then, there are all the unfinished Van Cherone songs that later become Tribe of Judah or Hurtsmile songs.
There's Mitch Malloy version of That's Why I Love You.
Of course, there are supposedly 24 demos from the ADKOT sessions laying around...good luck on getting those!
Michael Anthony in an interview said he had the demos from the 2000/2001 sessions with DLR. Again, good luck getting those.
I am sure we can all add specific songs and come up with an unreleased album. If I don't respond to you it means I have you on ignore, which means you are a douchenozzle.

David Lee Roth did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it!

I'm convinced I've heard one of these. from somewhere like kazaa or audiogalaxy in about 2002 I downloaded a van halen track called 'Throw Rag'. it was definitely 100% dave (sounding noticably older than 78-84 era) on vocals, and definitely eddie on guitar. of course I don't have it anymore, and never seen or heard mention of it before or since then... ho hum.

I have owned many Les Pauls, they are all inferior (to me) than the Musicman and Wolfgang guitars
