    Default Wet/Dry/Wet tips

Howdy guys. Just starting to dip my toe in the Wet/Dry/Wet world and have a couple of novice type questions. Already I feel like the world just went from black & white to color!

Since I’m new to this I’m keeping it really simple using a Suhr ISO Out & an inexpensive Peavey stereo power amp that I got on Reverb ($100 shipped!!) I’m just experimenting with a single effect at a time for now (Boss CE-5 stereo Chorus Ensemble & a DD-500).

Signal path is amp -> Suhr ISO Thru -> center 5150 cab; Suhr ISO Line Out -> CE-5 or DD-500 (stereo outs) -> Peavey power amp inputs -> L power amp out to VTM cabinet, R power amp out to tweed Classic cabinet

    1) What’s the best way to balance the levels on the wet cabs? The easiest way I could come up with was to set the amp master to taste, leave the volumes on the power amp turned up about 3/4 of the way, and then set the wet cabs using the single knob on the Suhr ISO.

    2) I don’t plan on using more than those two boxes and maybe in the future a Pitchfactor or a H9 in order to use the Micropitch function. With just these 3 effects, do I need any type of mixer? What’s the point of using one? There seem to be a lot of differing opinions on those.

    Pics attached.

Rob is probably the guy to ask re: the moist-dry-moist setup.

I can’t offer anything other than that nickel humbuckered Wolf looks fucking phenomenal.

    What pickups are they?

Put the H9/Pitchfactor after the CE before the DD500, set mix to 100%. In regards to balancing, be sure you're sending enough signal to the effects (at line), and then balance with the poweramp.

It’s a DiMarzio PAF 36th Anniversary in the neck and a DiMarzio PAF Master in the bridge. Both are on the lower output side.
