Hope I don't have Parosmia from the Covid.

Lately different foods have been smelling spoiled to me when I know they are not.

But I've also been using Vicks Sinex Severe Nasal Spray a lot at night to help me breath since a definite lasting effect of the Covid has been sinus problems that are nasty at night. maybe that stuff is starting to do a job on my membranes.

Never, ever had sinus issues before.

Agreed! The Internet has been awesome in so many ways. Thank you, Al Gore. Social media has been so detrimental to so many individuals' mental health and to society as a whole. I prefer the old AOL chat rooms where you could talk about weird sex fantasies and it stayed right there in your little group.

I like how soft you make it sound- "There have been SOME issues"..."Medical concerns" of "various types". I guess that's a start. I'm not sure about facebook and truck drivers, but we're far enough down the road to start looking around us a bit I think.

Two of my best friends are circling the drain. One has neurological issues that can't be plainly diagnosed. He can't eat right, has drop foot, and can no longer work. The other got diagnosed with massive heart failure and just had a defibrillator put in last week. Mid 40's hispanic male in perfect shape, soccer player. Left Atrium and Ventricle are shredded with scar tissue. His cardio doc literally said that he "must have suffered a massive heart attack....without realizing it".

Having heart attacks without realizing it is a normal thing now? Both forced to take the vaccine or lose their jobs (one is a nurse, the other worked in Sr. Living as a chef) We have life insurance companies as the first to report the death rate is "inexplicably" up 40% (this was many months ago, maybe a year), and now European countries are reporting similar findings (U.K.). My wife works in the school district and was actually allowed to stay on without a vaccine (accepted exemption). She's getting awards (little dumb things like monthly recognitions) for being the healthiest amongst the staff and least amount of sick days used. Her counterparts that have been vaccinated have mostly had covid multiple times and can't seem to even get over minor colds that linger for weeks or months. As far as respecting medical professionals goes....There's a list of 17k Dr's Globally that are calling for and demanding an end to any and all vaccine mandates and have rebuked the pharmaceutical industry for the literal failure of this crap. I'm sure they all have fake degrees and tinfoil hats though because CNN doesn't blast them 24/7 like they do Pfizer commercials...

Well, I had a cold this weekend and a really bad cough. So for the fun of it, I took a Covid test as I have many times and it was fucking positive. My wife took one and it was fucking positive. My daughter took one and her line was disappearing. She had a cold last week and probably had the fucking thing and we didn’t even know it and now both of us have it.

Now, none of us got that third booster because we’re fucking idiots. We just never were able to get around to doing it, which was stupid on our part. You feel like you’ve been pretty safe and wearing your mask in certain places and you’ll be OK. Guess not.

Anyway, we’ll live. None of us are that sick. It’s just more annoying than anything. I do not like the coughing though. And I have to miss bowling tomorrow which sucks because I never miss league. Even if I test negative tomorrow, I don’t think I would chance it and get anyone sick and go.
