Default 2020 CoronaVirus Outbreak - That began in Wuhan, China and is spreading

I just got my dinner delivered tonight. I love it. I donít mind paying a delivery fee at all, and I get to relax at home and watch TV. I have no need to go to a restaurant right now. I think itís funny how people are running out to restaurants like they discovered fire or something.

Huey Luey's has good food... Problem is, not a ton of options for someone that only does 75 carbs a day.

I'm a straight up home body. Delivered food is just fine by me. I've never been a social butterfly that needs to go out. It's not something I crave. I force myself to be social because i understand it's healthy.

Used to go as teenagers to the Hooters in Newport Beach, but it closed.

Funny, I hadnít thought about the casino in a while.

Back in summer Ď07 a buddy and I went to go watch the Tournament of the Americas at UNLV. This was the Team USA squad that went to the Olympics in China the next summer. Anyway, there was almost NO ONE in attendance and we just had a blast drinking margaritas and watching Kobe, Kidd, Lebron, Dwight, etc., play together.

We took a cab there from an off-strip hotel and then we walked to the Hooters Casino to have a drink and maybe eat. We sat AT the bar and it wasnít that busy. 15 minutes go by and we tried to get someoneís attention to buy a drink and couldnít so we got up and left. My first and last time in the Hooters Casino.

And they lived up to the hype. Excellent wings, IMO.

I never understood the love for Hooters' wings. I love me some wings, went there years ago excited to try their wings I had heard about, and was very disappointed. Maybe I just had a bad experience. IDK. But there are many more places to get really good wings. Or, I should say, wings that I like.

I'm happy for the businesses to be serving customers again. Fingers crossed that this doesn't lead to any spikes.

I've not missed it at all. We continued to order pickup or delivery all along. I will compromise now, however, and do the occasional outdoor dining. Baby steps for me.

I just wish more people would get vaccinated. Ironically, those are the people who have kept us locked down so long, yet they're also the ones who cried the loudest about being locked down. lol

I paid $5.18 to have a $100 meal delivered to my doorstep.

We used to call that a hermit. I'm pretty much a hermit since covid but Ive been heading that way since my 40s. I did so much schmoozing in my life early. At 18 I crashed the bar at the Fountainebleau Hotel in Miami Beach and was elbow to elbow with Merv Griffith,Jackie Gleason, and Rock Hudson. Those where only the people I knew in the crowd. I also used to frequent Duke Zieberts in DC and of course all the Baltimore clubs and pickup joints. Now I watch You Tube videos and come here to comment lol.

Of course. The Block was actually a pretty decent place back in the 30s and 40s and early 50s. My dad was a taxi and truck driver then bounced at few of the clubs back then he was rejected for service during WW2(chronic eczema) so he made a fortune there in the 40s. It turned into a shit hole in the 60s. It was always run by the local Jewish mafia. Never liked it personally just never was into titty bars and chicks who sat on your lap and had you buy them 30 dollar drinks in 1977. I would rather head over to someplace with good music and food maybe get some real girls phone number.
