Moby Dick...New Camera Angle!
So I was going to post a different song but my wife got me this really cool tripod for my office for Hanumas so I can move my camera around and use a different angle. So this is the first video I’ve done from a different angle which I actually like a lot better and I don’t need to try to prop my phone up on my desk anymore. New VH shirt too, thanks Jeff.

Nice job Brett!
That's the the earliest example of the almighty Drop D tuning that I know of.
My very first two rock albums were Toys in the Attic and Rocks, LZ II was my third, so that one is very close to my inner core.
Moby Dick is one of a few songs that I jam along on guitar, or bass, or drums. I got a lot of Bonham riffs off that one.
The most challenging part of Page is copping his slop. I've never been able to do it, and no offense, you either, but I think you know what I'm trying say, and you did an excellent rendition.
Coincidentally (weirdly, out of the blue), I was just trying to cop those low pull off triplet licks two days ago, and now I see I was phucking them up. Thanks! You read my mind.

Moby Dick...New Camera Angle!
No I don’t play anything like Jimmy Page so I do have a hard time trying to do some of the cool things he does because he’s sloppy. Certainly not offensive, I’m not JP.
Yeah those pull offs sound cool and they’re easy to do.

Second time is the same thing he just adds the 3-2-0 on the A string too.

Great sound, and the 5150 obviously looks cool.
It's ridiculous how many great songs and riffs that Page came up with! Despite what Eddie said (other than than his praise about the "bitchin'" open string pull offs, that supposedly made him start tapping), I think there was more playing influence than Ed might admit. I can certainly hear certain Page licks - especially live - and think "Yup, that reminds me of..." in Eddie's solos etc.
New camera seems awesome. Winding down 2019, so Happy New Year to you and yours.![]()
