So you'd think this easy fucking song wouldn't take much to record and put it out the way I do it with a phone and a quick take.

This was like take 10 because every one had something that stuck out at me that I didn't like. Finally I just said fuck it - there's gonna be a flub or something I don't like no matter how many times I record it so here it is. LOL...

Nice job on the solo and pick slides.

You really need to get a band together with a good drummer and properly work up 15 songs

Just goes to show that playing more often is going to bring your chops back up, I don't really practice anymore per se, but there was a stretch there from when my second son was born up until about last summer that I would go weeks on end without picking it up at all. Well, you do that long enough and you're going to lose some of whatever skill you've acquired over your years of playing.

Thanks! TBH I just winged what I thought he was doing on the pick slides, I feel like he does something on the high strings as well that I can't really put my finger on.

I've thought about trying to get something together as a weekend type of band thing going, I enjoy playing VH but I wouldn't want to do the full tribute thing. Plus these guys kind of have that covered in this area:

That said, there's other stuff I like to play too, who knows. I actually like writing stuff too but probably not much of a market for that other than just for self satisfaction.
