Will We Get The Requisite "Happy Holidays from Van Halen" Message This Year?

After a flurry of activity in late Sept/Oct, outside of Wolf calling someone a "mango" a couple of days ago, things have been eerily quiet.

Meanwhile...there's a part of me that wonders...

The reunion with DLR was pushed off several times, and although I don't fault the guy for growing impatient, I wonder what would've been, had he not pushed the envelope. Again, I am not assigning blame, although I can't help but let curiosity get the best of me.

The Van Halen's have NEVER addressed the "band is finished" statement; I can't help but wonder if they're leaving the door open a crack...

They had like 15 years worth of reunions. It's over.

Garry Shandling still tweets every few days.

If the band VH sends out a Happy Holiday message it's pretty much the same thing.

I am kicking myself in the ass for not having seen them in 2015.

I stupidly took for granted that the band would continue touring...

I know that my reply is gonna get this thread closed, but here goes:

I check Google for Van Halen news alerts daily, and everything regarding this band has been deader than dead. It always a hope, that someone with connections in the industry, will chime in with a promising rumor regarding the status of our favorite band.

A few weeks ago, someone remarked that Wolf would be hitting the road in 2020. I always hold a candle of hope that his Dad will be participating with him.

Therein lies the truth of it: there's a part of me that won't accept that the band is dead; that EVH and AVH won't be out and about, at least one last time.
