That's quite the tempo they are playing at LOL. Was it the coke or these guys hated each other so much by 1984 that they just wanted to get off the stage ASAP?

    Listened to Little Guitars...great rendition.

Not sure why DLR likes his live vocals so dry now. Some reverb and echo go a long way.
If I don't respond to you it means I have you on ignore, which means you are a douchenozzle.

Emperor Brett - "I can't believe you guys are analyzing song-by-song Van Halen III? What next, analyzing the script of Stroker Ace looking for some shred of Citizen Kane?"

David Lee Roth did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it!

A man's rights rests in three boxes: the ballot box, the jury box, and the cartridge box

It was a really cool stage set, but for me, the Fair Warning tour was Van Halen's greatest stage production in their entire career. The back alley cityscape backdrop, the almost haphazard mountain of speakers, that giant, blinding lighting rig that dropped down at key moments to form "VH" .... Epic!

Probably equal parts of All Of The Above. The Simmons drums Alex was using only added to the overall feel of the band jacking up the tempo, plus I think Eddie was playing close to standard tuning on some songs like Unchained.

that sounded really good. the tempo is jacked (like everyone else has pointed out) but I don't think it effects the performance that much (just my opinion after one listen).

all of my bootlegs are in storage actually, most of what I have is on cassette tape (prolly about 150 shows all together), I may have heard this in the past but I don't remember it. I have ripped tons of full shows off of YouTube so I might have it somewhere. I've def never seen video of it. I don't own many live video's TBH. There were a few bootleg stores around here and I did buy some but they're on VHS and I would usually go for interviews or rare videos (I have one with the music video for LOC that I've had since about 1990, that was pretty cool back in the day)

I have a few really cool little things but i haven't seen that stuff in at least 8-10 years.
