Rhoads, for the influence and importance. Not to mention the songs.
I don't know much about Schenker, admittedly so for never really hearing his tunes on the radio, other than his brother was/is in a far more popular and revered band.
That, and that Eddie blew him away at the '76 Golden West Ballroom gig...

Randy Rhoads, because for me, he was much more influential. MS was also quite self destructive.

    Schenker.

Far better tone & UFO's "Only You Can Rock Me" is one of the greatest melodic guitar solo ever recorded.

Schenker got clean around the same time Eddie did. His playing ever since has been off the charts.

Michael Schenker is criminally underrated, but Randy Rhoads was on a whole different level.

I’ve always liked Michael Schenker especially his solo work overall, but I have to say Randy Rhoads. Randy was part of two classic albums and his guitar work on them speaks volumes. Too bad we never got to see how great he could have been.

"I wish Bon Jovi would've given me a call before he recorded all of his hits, because the lyrics would've been smarter, the melodies would've been much more smashing, and they would've sold a lot fewer records." -David Lee Roth

"But being number one doesn’t really mean jack fuck all. We sold twice as many records as other records that year (1984) that landed in the Number One position." ~Eddie Van Halen

The Golden West Ballroom in Norwalk, CA (which is now a church called Community Chapel) was roughly 6 miles from the house where I grew up. Too bad I was only 12 years old at the time …

Shenker. Rhoads is just too overrated for me, but this stems from so many people when I was growing up trying to claim he was better than Ed. LMAO, uhh, no. That annoying tone on his Ozzy and QR albums knocks him down a peg, too. Still, a phenomenal talent who's life was extinguished much too soon.

    Yep.

Rhoads' tone is like his Kryptonite. Blaagh.
