Where In The Hell Does Wolf Pull This Stuff From?

On This Day - November 3rd 2006. The mighty Van Halen announce new bassist, Wolfgang Van Halen. What did you think of the change?

Ahh good times. Can’t believe it’s already been a year since the last time you posted this, inviting all the happy people to shit on me on my timeline. Thanks, kind sir!

Replying to @WolfVanHalen @mitchlafon and
Whoops, I mean... HE’S THE WORST. HE HAS MADE MY LIFE A LIVING HELL SINCE THAT VERY DAY WITH HIS SUB PAR MUSICAL ABILITY.
***************
Why am I posting this?
Simple.
Like most of you, I really love the work of the Van Halens, be it Ed, Al, or Wolf.
Wolf marched on stage with a really great attitude, which unfortunately got twisted along the way. A few posters on this site poked at him for his weight struggles, although most people on this site have had a thankful heart for bring Van Halen back.
Likewise, most posters - even those who, like myself, miss Mike - laud Wolf for both his talent and for his abilities.
I can't help but feel that Wolf's very poor perception of us, affects the way in which he relates to Van Halen's fans. This sucks, as Van Halen is one of the few bands even worth watching.
Where is Wolf pulling this negativity from?
Why - over the past few years - does he insist on thinking that Van Halen fans have a low opinion of him? Why - over the past few years - does he see Van Halen fans as a group of insatiable people who will NEVER be happy with whatever they put out.
"Yawn."
"Why do you care?"
Music plays a big role in my life, and there's a dearth of quality art out there. Therefore, for the sake of the craft itself, I would like to be an encouraging force towards artists whom I appreciate."So the legacy of a band who is one of the greatest of all time will be stunted because of spoiled man-baby and his deranged mommy." - Brook
"when I heard Me Wise Magic on I-81 in 1996...I am thinking "what a fucking waste of time the last ten years were for Van Halen." - Dave's Dreidel
"It wasn't Ed's playing that inspired me, it was his spirit. The playing was merely a manifestation of that spirit." - Speedway

Achievements:
All the fucking children on Twitter, Instagram, and even this site have gotten to him. 10+ years of people insisting he ruins the band or faked his way through tours. That'll mess with one's head, especially when they're young and still forming themselves as a person. It's not an excuse, it's an unfortunate reality. It's Mike is still right, he gives the trolls and haters far too much credit.
All Wolf did was fill a spot in a band that his Dad told him was vacant. If he hadn't then the forensic scientists on this forum would still be trying to determine Eddie's BAC on each night during the '04 tour - because if not for Wolf that would've been the last we saw of VH.

Go read through the archives of this site and you'll have your answer.
Throwing a fit because he's Ed's son, pumping in the bass, pumping in the backing vocals, making fun of his weight, its all there to see.
Combine that with the vitriol that his dad gets and it doesn't surprise me at all.
And why the fuck is this Mitch Lafon guy tweeting something like that? He knows what the answers are going to be. He's a bigger douchnozzle for encouraging this shit that Wolf is for responding.
We all know what happened. We also know what the answers are going to be. I would guess that virtually no one is going to say they liked the change and are glad that Wolf took Mike's spot. And its not because Wolf can't do the playing and singing competently, but solely because he replaced a fan favorite who had been with the band since the very beginning. This guy's an asshole intentionally trying to stir up crap and I don't blame Wolf one iota for his response.
Frankly Wolf ought to just shut his twitter down and get off of social media. Which is a shame because he used it to some good effect with setlists and pics and whatnot. But as is usually the case, assholes had to ruin it.

Runaway is one of those songs that are so 80's love it. Just like Jump reminds me of the 80's.
