Hell of a shot. Maybe Lebron’s worst half as a Laker and still won.

But I won’t count these Nugs out until they’re out.

Bad second half for sure. Still won, that’s all that matters. That loss tonight hurt the Nuggets, that is a tough one to take when you come back.

That was the worst possible way for the Nuggets to lose that game. The Lakers need to go for the jugular Tuesday night.

That was a Kobe shot..or a Robert Horry shot.

FYI the Lakers have never lost a WCF when they've led 2-0 and are 43-1 when they've led any 7-game series 2-0.

Also, Lebron pointed out that the Lakers' last game before Covid at Staples against Brooklyn, they were in the exact same situation, and AD had the exact same shot, and missed it.

Oh last thing, and it's not a knock on Giannis, he's a great player. But it is a travesty he has more MVP awards than Kobe. Thank you.

They’ll look back on how few he had, especially now that he’s gone, as a travesty either way.

l don't know if it is, some of that is just situational. He wasn't gonna win MVPs when he was playing with Shaq and that gobbled up the first few years of his prime. He then spent some more of his prime on a pretty bad team when he wasn't gonna win any MVPs. By the time he's the only superstar on a great team, he's almost 30 years and he's now entering the Lebron era. It almost sounds silly for a guy who had as long of a great career that Kobe had, but his "win MVP" window was really small. Don't think he cared though that much though, he was interested in a different trophy.

I agree Kobe only cared about one thing, winning championships. But it just seems like there were a couple seasons where he really should’ve won it. On the years where Shaq was on the team I don’t think he was an MVP candidate for the regular season. I thought in 2002 he should’ve been the Finals MVP just based on what he did in the playoffs as a whole, but it doesn’t work that way. There just seemed to always be somebody having a little better of a season, or their team just did a little better. I don’t think he lost a lot of sleep over it you’re right.

MVP trophies are more overrated than the Clippers.

Haha. Wow that’s saying something too.

Man how they went down was so awesome. Just so awesome. The only way it would’ve been better is if the Lakers swept them.

end of the day i think his spot in history is pretty set, 2nd best SG of all time. And the gap from #2 to #3 is f-ing huge. A top 10ish overall player ever. We an argue that spot til the cows come home.

Will be interesting to see if Hayward makes the difference and the Celtics can sustain what they did Friday night. They should realistically be up 3-0 right now, they had leads they should have closed out in all three games. Just not sure they're mature enough yet, hoping that's where Hayward can make the difference.

Could just as easily lose in 5.

Doesn't really matter anyway, nobody is beating LA. If LA (assuming Lebron and AD stay healthy) doesn't win the title, it'll be the biggest choke job in maybe the history of sports. Which, with Lebron on the team, means there's a chance, LOL.
