I feel the same way, Brett. Hard to imagine any team sports working right now. Finish it up next year when this over. No fans? It's just gonna be silence with a bunch of squeaky shoes. A summer league game, basically.

Of course, if the NBA doesn't play they don't get the TV money, so, they'll do whatever they can to finish it looks like.

Actually you’ll probably hear all the players yelling and cussing. I mean there’s not gonna be any other sounds. How are they going to manage that, tell guys not to talk shit? Yeah good luck.

It’ll be like watching a practice with officials. Just weird. No cheers, no boos, nothing for the players to get hyped up about. Just strange. Same with baseball.

Maybe they pipe in crowd noise.

That was one thing I was curious about--if we'd be hearing the players talking shit. The screeching of their sneakers will be even more pronounced. But I have a feeling no sport will complete a season.

I'm not achingly missing sports but I am missing them. We'd be almost to the All-Star break right now. I do miss having baseball to tune in to every night, even if it's only a score update.

They are going to pipe in crowd noise that is used in the NBA video game. Not joking.

They were concerned about the trash talking, and used Kevin Garnet as an example, he would always (supposedly) talk trash to the other players by telling them what he's been doing to their wives. That kind of shit wouldn't play well, and it's not like you could get these guys to stop talking trash after all these years.
If I don't respond to you it means I have you on ignore, which means you are a douchenozzle.

Well that makes sense I was wondering what they were going to do. Because you will definitely hear them talking.

Lol, yeah I seem to remember he was always outspoken but didnt really like to scrap if an actual physical confrontation was imminent. He, and probably everyone else in the 2000s, wouldve been no match for guys like Maurice Lucas, Kermit Washington, Charles Oakley etc.

Absolutely. KG was smart not to retaliate and risk getting suspended for game 7, though.

LOL. Yeah, them too. During summer league they turn those mics down a bit so you don't hear every word.
They'll be on a delay...for the bad words as well. Plus the announcers never shut up so they'll block some.

Dave is right. Crowd noise will be their. But it should be low until someone scores, anyway. They did it for soccer and Korean baseball. It's just a low crowd in the background.

I'm guessing they'll have an organ guy playing all the NBA hits. Or a recording of him.
