Likely unless Gerri outlives him and given I am not convinced Gerri is actually mortal Gerri. I would put it closer to 300.

Dave had a lot to deal with past year or so only really looking forward in recent months. He did put out Diamond Dave which originates from those covers and pretty much no one noticed so think that just cemented the belief no one wants to hear them.
Their view is different than fans. He was genuinely surprised fans would like EEAS to this day over anything but VH.

It's not about sales at this point, it's legacy. And yeah, I know, his legacy is VH.

But I do think a lot of people look at him as some lucky schlub that teamed up with VH, that he isn't a talented artist in his own right, and releasing material could help change that narrative.

He's a multi instrumentalist that can sing and write. Fucking release shit. I bet Johnny Cash wasn't thinking sales when he teamed up with Rick Rubin.
If I don't respond to you it means I have you on ignore, which means you are a douchenozzle.

Emperor Brett - "I can't believe you guys are analyzing song-by-song Van Halen III? What next, analyzing the script of Stroker Ace looking for some shred of Citizen Kane?"

David Lee Roth did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it!

I agree especially because he is so proflic.

My suggestion was he could do a series of EP and then stream from his basement a storyteller session on how the songs were done and generally do his Uncle Dave story thing. Do it like 1 a month also a walk down memory lane and pull some of those basement pieces. More music focused.
Does not think anyone would watch it. I think it would be great and in his own world there.
But he will make more noise again

Anyone have any idea why A Different Kind of Truth is no longer on Spotify?

All the other VH albums are still there.
There's two kinds of music: There's music I like, and there's music I don't like.

That's a good question. I noticed as well. Could be some sort of licensing issue, as that album only is on Interscope. Maybe they're remastering it?
