I think it's about seeing a new band on TV for the first time, and seeing a show after that.

The coolest thing about Dave's lyrics is the way they aren't concrete. Not only do they sound good, but you've really gotta listen, and even then you aren't always sure what the hell is going on. [img]smilies/smile.gif[/img]

yeah, that's cool, but at the same time, it's kinda dumb. i like the more concrete lyrics that make sense.
although, don't get me wrong, sammy's lyrics aren't as good in my opinion.

I've always thought 'Light Up the Sky' was about that great ritual we in the free country refer to as "passing the freedom torch!" [read: smoking marijhana]

Woman and Children First is one of my fav's for Dave's lyrics. All of the "not-concrete" double entendre mixed with machismo and philosophy.

Are we talking most obscure lyrics or most unintelligible, because I don't think "Everybody Wants Some!!" qualifies for the former (I know what he's singing about!) and I've never really had any trouble making out the lyrics. Now "Loss Of Control", on the other hand...
