    Default Live Right Here/Now question

I heard that this album was not actually “live” in the truest sense of the term in that it wasn’t recorded at an actual concert but rather played in the studio then had crowd noise added to simulate an actual show.

    Is this factual?

I do not like green eggs and ham.
The only genre I really know is Van Halen.

If I can get a mix of that album without that lousy crowd noise, I'll listen to it a lot more than I would otherwise. Even as a "studio live" album and not "live" album.

I like it for that it is; has a looser feel to it. Great accompaniment to FUCK and OU812.

"If it sounds good, it is good..." - Eddie Van Halen.

I liken it to learning much later on, via the internet, that Eddie didn't paint the awesome 5150 guitar... Still very cool, and something I associate with Him. Many, many, live albums have studio touch ups etc. I don't let that taint my enjoyment of them. Kind of like Eddie telling the story about how he "cheated" on the Little Guitars intro, and fooling people into thinking he was a finger picking/Flamenco master. The way it sounds through your speakers and how you react to it is what matters, IMO.

Again, read the first line of this post ^^^.
"There's too many people on this basketball that's floating around the sun, who are too afraid to allow themselves to FEEL" - Edward Van Halen
"Van Halen was never about the singer..." - A very wise fan.

The Fresno Media Restoration guy posted his DAT recording a while ago it's there on his YouTube channel.

Here it is raw & real.

    Wow. That’s a little pathetic.

No- No problemo from me. All good. Nevermind my post it was impulsive. Guess I just thought something seemed amiss with all the recent threads but none of my business to say anything. I personally just figured this Right Here Live album was pretty well common knowledge but another thread about it isnt the worst thing I guess.
