I have rectangular tkl case (minus the lock) https://www.zzounds.com/item--TKL883...SABEgIgyvD_BwE that does fine for my Korean wolf & gold wolf special, but I've always wanted a real peavey wolf case for my main axe "Wolfie" and have never found or been quick enough on the draw to get one.

An option I've seen is to buy a Peavey Wolfgang Special w/case, and then resell (if you wanted) the guitar without the case. It's a way to recoup most or all of the $$, and the guitars aren't generally too hard to move in the used market.

I have considered just buying another one but prices have gone up alot it seems.........so was just looking for an alternative....

I did find an skb case that looks like based on dimensions should fit but not sure.....the 1-skb-6

Tbh, I only have one "proper" case, a Gator, that is built like a tank. I have two deluxe padded gig bags and a generic rectangular hard shell case by Yorkville, I believe. The molded Peavey cases are neat for sure, yet I get on fine with any generic hs case, as long as the guitars are fairly snug and not swimming around too much. Less $$$ as well, which to me is always a good thing.

Get an oversized generic case and I bet an upholstery shop would hook you up on padding up the inside. That seat foam they use is pretty rigid and comes in a variety of thicknesses if you need to glue up thinner plies to get to where you want.probably be cheap too.

For what it is worth, both a Peavey Wolfgang and a Peavey Wolfgang Special fit pretty darn perfectly in an EVH Wolfgang hard case.

Peavey was a staple of my 80's youth.
All of our gear was Peavey, like everyone in the neighborhood.

Whoa, that's too bad.
Peavey has always been a pretty big hitter (at least they were) in terms of quality and durability. I know you like your gear and that it has served you well over the years.

is the Peavey liquidation for the entire Meridian, MS plant? I'm wondering if they are moving all manufacturing to China? If so, seems like a dumb move (especially now) but maybe it's the only way they can continue in today's economy?
