I uploaded this forever ago, but Warner Chappel has some super strict Youtube copyright policies and they blocked it in all countries because I’m using a backing track of the original band. I appealed the block for the heck of it and nothing happened...till today when I noticed my appeal was accepted. So here we are.

Playing the P90 Thinline Cabronita I made from a tree that once stood in my wife’s front yard. Klein pickups, body and neck made by Best Guitar Parts, and a gunstock oil/wax finish. EVH Wolfgang neck specs with stainless 6105 frets.

I always thought that the guitar made from your wife's old property tree was an awesome touch! Very neat indeed.

As far as the playing, have you ever considered saving up for some lessons? Haha.

I've always had a deep respect (and I mean that most...) for the guitar work in that particular song, and have always wanted to learn it, but never get around to it, cuz I'm so lazy.

FWIW, I remember seeing a Sweetwater (maybe) demo for the Phase 45, the little brother of the Phase 90.
The guy was jamming some old James Gang stuff, dead on with it, so my guess is Joe Walsh may have been using a Phase 45 way back when.



And next time Jedi, I expect to see a screen within a screen for all harmony parts!
