Meltdown!
I'm posting this in VH Main, as I figured more people would see it... Hope that's ok, and because I frequent this site a lot and chat with the VH community, figured it would be appropriate.
I had an entire week of hardcore alcoholism and generally being unhealthy in body and mind. Remember when Sammy mentioned that Eddie would have three beers in him by 9am, and called him a 'cruiser' or something? Man, last week I was full blown kamikaze! Hammered by 10, pass out, wake up at 2am and start slamming drinks again, etc. Rinse and repeat. I don't do drugs anymore (for years) yet love my beers. Too much, at times. I wasn't sleeping/eating/coping very well. I know I started rants and insults that we're uncalled for (for the most part) and probably caused the Mods and site owner to roll their eyes more than once!
I'm an introvert and an alcoholic, who recently had a few things in my life change for the worse. We all know about GM Oshawa, right? Then my 7 1/2 yr relationship fizzed and I haven't been allowed to see one of my pets (fur babies!) for three months. As an only child, I get really attached, maybe moreso than most. It's killing me... Probably sharing more about my personal life than normal. I'm not normally an angry drunk; I like to have fun, yet last week I let life get the best of me.
Not a pity party, I just wanted to try and explain why I acted like a loon. This is me owning it, apologizing for it, and trying to set the record straight. Those in charge can close this thread now if they choose to not deal with any possible replies, yet I wanted to post it and have some of you folks read it.Last edited by RRvh1; 07.06.19 at 05:19 PM.

Dude, I figured something like that was going on. I didn’t comment because I didn’t think I would be of any help.
We all go through dark times; I’ve had my share! No worries here man. Hope you find your way back to a better place.
Just an aside; this band is fairly dead end at this point. Not worth worrying about IMO. Maybe you need a change; find another distraction or even move away to somewhere new to start over.
Peace

I Coulda Hada VH, track 5 thanked for this post.
In my opinion, the Dodgers cannot be beaten in a seven game series, especially if everybody is healthy. But those short series are the real issue. If they get past that, I think they will win it...
