Anything and everything your hearts desire.

Bottoms Up! or Outta Love Again?

I have to go with OLA. Stellar drums from Al, Mike groovin' on the boom stick, killer axe work from Ed and Dave bringin' it with those high pitched screams.

    Outta Love Again.
I love Ed's riffs and the simplicity of the first solo vs the frenzy of the second...

That's a tough one! My two favorite openers from the Sammy era and probably two of my top 10 Sammy VH songs. I will give the slight edge to Good Enough because of the opening, the solo and the breakdown.

Top Jimmy or House Of Pain?

Slight edge to Good Enough for me as well, although I hold Poundcake in pretty high regard.
House of Pain, for me. The heaviest song on my favorite VH album. Thick yet articulate guitar tone, insane solos, piercing pinch harmonics, blazing legato runs... Plus that outro!

Top Jimmy is no slouch, although it's my least favorite on the album.

Feel Your Love Tonight or On Fire?

These "deep cuts" are actually my 2nd and 3rd favorite songs on the debut after I'm The One. I give the edge to FYLT, which is Van Halen at their hard/pop rock finest. Great friggin' tune.

Outta Love Again. I was pleasantly surprised when the band broke this song out of the vaults on the 2012 tour.

    FYLT, for me.
One of my favorite tracks on the album. Everything about it; guitar, lyrics, harmonies, humor, etc.

VH were a hard/impossible act to follow after that debut. There's a reason guys like us are on this site after all these years, and no, it isn't for the Beautiful Girls or BBQ threads!

Outta Love Again, but love Bottoms Up too.

Good Enough, but always liked Poundcake.

On Fire, because its my favorite on the debut, but FYLT is my 2nd favorite on the debut.

PCTS or So This Is Love? Love em both but I gotta go with Push, because its so unique to the catalog and those flanger accents by Ed are incredible.

So This Is Love? for me, although the solo on PCTS is amazing.

Cabo Wabo or Black And Blue? BAB, for me. I dig the slow and dirty groove. Sort of the Drop Dead Legs of the Sammy era.

Wow that is REALLY tough for me. I'm going to go with DDL's dirty little cousin as well, because Al has some badass fun tom fills in there. But both tunes are two of my favs on the best Sam era album.

How bout Hang Em High vs Full Bug. Im guessing most on this forum will say Bug, but to me HEH is the far superior Ed shredfest and Alex's drumming and all the accents he throws in at such high tempo is incredible. Plus, added bonus for Dave's lyrics inspired by another of my favs, Clint Eastwood.

Hang 'Em High vs The Full Bug is easily the toughest match up for me on Diver Down. I love 'em both, but I will go with The Full Bug by a hair. Hey, it's the only VH song with a harmonica.

Fools or Take Your Whiskey Home? Two stellar deep cuts from the real Van Halen III. I'll go with Whiskey by less than an ounce.

    Outta Love Again is superb.

VH II is their best album in my opinion.

Fools easily. Based on the stellar intro, the superior drums, and the epic outro with Dave scatting. This song is inexplicably hated by more than a few on here, but its a top 15 tune for me.

    Judgement Day or Runaround?

Two of the best tunes on For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge. I have to go with Runaround, which is one of my very favorite songs from the Sammy era.
